Emblem and that fourth Final Fantasy released in America was actually the 7th.

I'm pretty sure you've noticed the latest updates on the Dojo. One of them being
the delayed release update, and the other being the Sheik update.
I'm glad that they've finally put Sheik in the Dojo, it's about time too. I only
think they did that to cool off those people who were upset about the delay
though. I guess you can stop freaking out about whether Sheik is in or not, aye?

Anywho, I think the next update should either be another Third 3rd Party
Character or a Captain Falcon Update. xD I can dream, can't I?
Well anyway, what do you think about the delay? I think it's pretty lame that
Japan only gets a 1 Week Delay, while we get a 1 Month delay. -.- (I think the
Japanese are trying to get in some extra practice before we Americans play
'cause we're so uber and whatnot. j/k) I guess I shouldn't complain about the
delay because it's only a month. Imagine when Australia will get the game.

odd that they didn't really show any of Zelda's Special moves on the Dojo and
kinda odd that her Final Smash isn't in there either. Also the fact that Zelda
wasn't a playable character in the Demo was kind of hinting that there's
something Sakurai doesn't want us knowing about her. Some say that it's far too
late to count Shiek out now, and I agree with that. Even though she wasn't in
TP, like you said, she was a really popular character, and I doubt Sakurai will
pull a fast one on us and say,"Shiek's out."
Well, I dunno, that's just me maybe over speculating, but you can't blame me, I
mean, Shiek really is an awesome character. xD (And the idea of her having her
own character that you can unlock seems possible)

I get the feeling that he might be removed to make way for more new characters,
as he is not as popular as other characters. As Yoda put it, "Hard to see,
the dark side is."
Another question that I have been mulling over is whether or not Shiek will be
back. If the updated-to-date theory holds, she would be removed since she wasn't
in TP, and they will give Zelda another special attack. But she is very popular,
and ranked as one of the best characters in the game, so removing her would
upset many players. Other clues are the fact that she hasn't been mentioned on
Dojo, and one would expect the starting characters to be listed, or that the
"multiple characters rolled into one" thing is now used by Pokemon
Trainer (maybe she will have her own character that will have to be unlocked?).

if they're going with the whole Twilight Princess thing, it'd make sense, plus,
he completes the Triforce with the Power piece, and it'd be kinda dumb not
having him in there. If he would make it in, I sure hope he'll actually use his
sword this time around. Also, I can already think of what his Final Smash would
be, his Beast form. Forgot the actual name, been a while since I've played TP.

His Final Smash would be similar to Bowser's Final Smash, transforming into a
beast for a short period of time, basically being invincible.

I don't really care about Ness. And when I told a friend of mine that Ness was
out of Smash Bros., he was happy. I never could get the hang of Ness' recovery
move either, so he just ended up making me angry when ever I played him.
And I would like to see Snake replaced with Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia. I
never was a big fan of the Metal Gear Solid series, and when they said he would
have no guns I lost interest in him. Lloyd would be a great character for
Brawl--he practically has his special moves already made for him, like Tiger
Blade and Demon Fang, with Falcon Crest as a Final Smash. They would barely have
to change his controls, since the controls of Melee and Tales of Symphonia are
nearly identical.
Note: I believe that the Dark Link costume added to Brawl is actually from
Twilight Princess; the scene where the light spirit of Lanayru told Link the
origin of the Fused Shadows. That cinematic showed three Links colored black,
but with red eyes. If you think back to the Water Temple of Ocarina of Time,
that Dark Link was solid black with no eyes.

The fighters in Smash are like the representatives of their particular corner of
the Nintendo universe. Ness was replaced by Lucas in the Mother games, so it
makes sense that the representative of that game be updated too. Link was
updated to fit his newest incarnation, as was Samus. Following this approach, it
seems likely that Marth and Roy are to be replaced by their successors--Ike and
whomever else might be added--and that Young Link won't return, since Link was
never a child in Twilight Princess. But I don't see a reason that C. Falcon will
be left out, there haven't been any big changes to F-Zero. As for Jigglypuff,
she might be removed to make room for a newer, more popular Pokemon--They have
added many more Pokemon to the list since Melee came out. However, I have a
feeling she won't be removed because of her popularity among smashers.

Well, I've been wandering around the Smashboards' Blog and I ran into the
Ness deconfirmation. I had already seen the update on Lucas and his special
moves on DOJO and
thought nothing of it. Sakurai had said,"There's a character named Ness who
has appeared in the Smash Bros. series up until
now..."
This stirred up a lot of commotion and got Smashers thinking, "Is Ness
really out?" I find this to be surprising because he was, afterall, one of
the original unlockables, and I thought it'd be crazy to just give him the boot,
never to return again.
If Ness is completely out, then I feel that this means other unlockables can be
kicked out too, like C.Falcon, Marth, Jigglypuff, etc. Kind of dissappointing if
you ask me.
Anyway, I was wondering what your thoughts were about this.

When you mentioned the original unlockables, I think you meant Jigglypuff not
Kirby. And as far as Luigi not being in Brawl, you can rest easy. It is
extremely unlikely that they would leave him out. Afterall, it wouldn't be Smash
"Bros." with out the Mario brothers.
But hearing that wavedashing is gone kinda makes me mad. I just got the hang of
it a little while ago! Grrr...

Hehe, people on Smashboards have thought the same thing.
Smashers still believe that, if Brawl isn't as huge as Melee, they'll continue
to hold tourneys for it and keep on smashing. Others say, even if Brawl were to
get big, they'd still play Melee because it's just that great a game.(I feel the
same) Plus, it's not something to stress over BloodWolf, just look at Brawl as a
Melee 2.0. xD(the thing I'd stress over is if there isn't wavedashing,
L-canceling, and SHFFL'ing in the game anymore)
And indeed, Brawl will undoubtedly be huge, and its competitive scene will be
huge and easy to get into, seeing as we'll be able to smash online with just
about anyone.
And on a side-note, have you noticed that none of the original unlockables have
been shown on Dojo? No Luigi, Ness, Kirby, or C.Falcon. Kind of makes me think
Sakurai isn't gonna have 'em in the game. -.-

Ain't that the truth. Some examples of good Jiggs players are KillaOr and King,
as for a Pikachu, ChuDat has one of the greatest Pikachu's. You guys should look
those pros up for some cool combo vids and stuff.

and that if you're used to fighting with Fox and/or Falco, you'll like how Sonic

on youtube. It doesn't matter what character you are using, it's your strategy
that counts.

Well, I've been wandering around the Smashboards' Blog and I ran into the Ness deconfirmation. I had already seen the update on Lucas and his special moves on DOJO and thought nothing of it. Sakurai had said,"There's a character named Ness who has appeared in the Smash Bros. series up until now..."
This stirred up a lot of commotion and got Smashers thinking, "Is Ness really out?" I find this to be surprising because he was, afterall, one of the original unlockables, and I thought it'd be crazy to just give him the boot, never to return again.
If Ness is completely out, then I feel that this means other unlockables can be kicked out too, like C.Falcon, Marth, Jigglypuff, etc. Kind of dissappointing if you ask me.
Anyway, I was wondering what your thoughts were about this.

When you mentioned the original unlockables, I think you meant Jigglypuff not Kirby. And as far as Luigi not being in Brawl, you can rest easy. It is extremely unlikely that they would leave him out. Afterall, it wouldn't be Smash "Bros." with out the Mario brothers.
But hearing that wavedashing is gone kinda makes me mad. I just got the hang of it a little while ago! Grrr...
the song is fine, alfonse. but i don't about the others. thanks for adding it to the site! makes me feel like playing Smash Bros right now!
Hehe, people on Smashboards have thought the same thing.
Smashers still believe that, if Brawl isn't as huge as Melee, they'll continue to hold tourneys for it and keep on smashing. Others say, even if Brawl were to get big, they'd still play Melee because it's just that great a game.(I feel the same) Plus, it's not something to stress over BloodWolf, just look at Brawl as a Melee 2.0. xD(the thing I'd stress over is if there isn't wavedashing, L-canceling, and SHFFL'ing in the game anymore)
And indeed, Brawl will undoubtedly be huge, and its competitive scene will be huge and easy to get into, seeing as we'll be able to smash online with just about anyone.
And on a side-note, have you noticed that none of the original unlockables have been shown on Dojo? No Luigi, Ness, Kirby, or C.Falcon. Kind of makes me think Sakurai isn't gonna have 'em in the game. -.-

Update :
I've created a Music Section for our Group Page. It's an auto play, so I know it may slowdown as the page loads. If this becomes a problem to you, let me know so I can take it down, or at least change it from Auto-play to Manual.
I chose the Fire Emblem Theme in Melee, so I hope you enjoy.
Also, if you guys prefer another song over this one, such as the Fountain of Dreams song, let me know, I'll probably change it when I get the chance. If you're fine with this song, I'll still probably change the song every two weeks or so.
I'm open to suggestions.

Here's a look at Killa Or's impressions over SSBB, it's pretty interesting to hear a Pro's thoughts on Brawl. Unfortunately, Wavedashing is out of the game, so that screws up Fox's Waveshine. -.- Anyway, you guys should check it out if you're interested.
I wonder if Brawl is going to have as big of a competetive scene as Melee. It will undoubtedly be huge, but it will be tough to even get close to Melee's. And if Brawl does get a huge competetive scene, what will happen to Melee? Maybe I'm thinking about it too much...

Really? Heh, around Smashboards, people tend to refer to Jigglypuff as either Jiggs or Jiggles. I find Jiggles to be more ghetto than Jiggs, so that's why I tend to say Jiggs. xD
Anyway, I've posted up the Gameplay Demo video up on the page, so now you guys can just watch it here if you already haven't. I'm also thinking about changing the other video of The Last Tier War. (If you guys haven't seen it yet, I recommend you do so now, it's uber xD)
I'll probably post up a Fox Combo Video of Zelgadis. We've already posted his Shined Blind before, so I'll see if I can post up his DBR Evolution one. If not, I'll come up with something else.

Ain't that the truth. Some examples of good Jiggs players are KillaOr and King, as for a Pikachu, ChuDat has one of the greatest Pikachu's. You guys should look those pros up for some cool combo vids and stuff.
Anyway, they say that Sonic is going to be a really fast character(obviously) and that if you're used to fighting with Fox and/or Falco, you'll like how Sonic plays or something.

I've seen some impressive Jiggs players, just look for Jigglypuff combo movies on youtube. It doesn't matter what character you are using, it's your strategy that counts.
Anyway, I'm anxious to see how Sonic handles. From the movie it seems like he is going to be somewhat light.
